Who Is Jack Sarfatti?

Born in Brooklyn, New York to Millie and Hyman Sarfatti, Jack Sarfatti wasn’t like the other kids. He was very wise for his age. He stuck to his books, reading about science, time travel, rockets, and the like.

Since entering academia, Sarfatti has been immediately drawn to physics. After graduating from Midwood High School in 1956, he furthered his mastery of the science by attending:

• Cornell University, obtaining his Bachelor’s in Physics in 1960
• La Jolla University, obtaining his MS in 1967
• University of California, Riverside, obtaining his Ph.D in 1969

Sarfatti was undoubtedly an outstanding student with a bright future. He studied under Nobel Prize-winning physicists and worked on the following papers, reflecting his extensive interest and understanding of the subject:

• Quantum-Mechanical Correlation Theory of Electromagnetic Fields, published in 1963
• Beyond the Hartree-Fock Theory in Superfluid Helium, published in 1970, which he co-wrote with his professor, Fred Cummings

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) recognized his genius and sponsored his attendance in a course on nonlinear physics at the Max Planck Institute. He juggled this with theoretical physics at Harwell Laboratory, now the Atomic Energy Research Establishment.

His Career Before Entering the UFO Space

By the 1970s, he became part of an informal group of physicists known as the Fundamental Fysiks Group. They helped nurture some alternative ideas in quantum physics, which formed the basis of today’s quantum information science.

Outside this group, he worked in the following professions:

• As an assistant physics professor at San Diego State University from 1967 to 1971
• As a research fellow at Birkbeck College from 1971 to 1972

His First Exposure to UFOs

When his parents divorced, Jack Sarfatti lived with his grandparents. His grandfather worked with the U.S. Army, driving officers around whenever they had to pick up materials. This gave him access to the army’s offices and laboratories, and the opportunity to ride along with officers, which ultimately exposed him to discussions about flying saucers.

Sarfatti claimed that one of the discussions he’s heard from them concerned the Roswell incident. While he seemed unsure whether it was a genuine memory or something he could’ve “manufactured,” he recalled recognizing the craft when photographs of it were published in Day After Roswell.

One of the incident’s key figures, Philip Corso, who claimed to have witnessed the crashed saucer and dead aliens, was also someone he talked to as a kid.

His Personal Encounter

With his background, Jack Sarfatti had already been intrigued about flying saucers growing up, but this would be amplified after his first personal encounter at the age of 13.

He had just moved back in with his mother in Brooklyn and was alone one August night when the phone rang. Sarfatti picked it up and, at first, all he could hear were numbers, as if someone were giving him coordinates.

In the background, he heard a whirring, clunking sound before a mechanical voice spoke up. It identified itself as “a computer on board a spacecraft back from the future,” and told him they were contacting around 400 young receptive minds to teach their technology to.

Jack Sarfatti initially thought it was a prank, but realized none of his friends had the technology to alter their voices during a call. The voice asked if he was interested in joining. However, when he thought of declining, he claimed he felt an electric shock from the base of his spine up the back of his head, before hearing himself say “yes”

The voice then told him he would meet others in the project in 20 years, and instructed him to:

• Go out the fire escape
• Wait for 10 minutes while they’ll send a ship over

He did as asked and went out, where he met his friends and told them a flying saucer was going to get him. Unfortunately, nothing showed up. However, this wouldn’t close the door on his association with the phenomenon, because in the 70s, the CIA personally contacted him.

What Was Jack Sarfatti’s Mission From the CIA?

While the CIA only formally approached Sarfatti in the 70s, their connection actually dated back much further. When he was in high school, he remembered meeting Walter Breen, an Air Force soldier in 1947, around the same time as the Roswell incident.

It turned out that Breen was recruiting young minds to join a program for gifted children. It was an informal gathering where men in black suits would come up to lecture them about the Soviet threat, physics, and flying saucers. This was the start of Jack Sarfatti’s connection with the CIA.

According to him, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was formed in response to the Roswell Crash. He heard it directly from James Jesus Angleton’s grandson that Angleton apparently got scared of the flying saucers, which prompted the agency’s establishment.

It was established so the government would understand two things:

• How consciousness works
• How flying saucers operate

These were also the reasons why the CIA pulled him out of academia—the subjects they gave him to look into.

The CIA Recording About UFOs

Jack Sarfatti understands that many would immediately question the credibility of his claims. Fortunately, he has one compelling piece of evidence up his sleeve.

In 1973, he was allegedly invited to a meeting with ufologist Jacques Vallee (who didn’t show up), the CIA, and other researchers. He managed to record a portion of the meeting in which they discussed remote viewing, telepathy, clairvoyance, and UFOs.

• People with Similar Experiences as Sarfatti. They also talked about Sarfatti’s phone call. Someone shared that they have data on others who have shared a similar experience. Sarfatti also shared that he often gets a subjective feeling that the information he gets about UFOs is being put into his mind.

What Did He Learn About UFO/UAPs?

Nobody understands it (UFO) in the military, but they could understand it if they listened to me and the others.

In pursuit of his mission, Jack Sarfatti has discovered the following about UFOs.

Element 115 Isn’t Necessary

One of the discoveries about UFOs was popularized by ufologist Bob Lazar. He claimed he possessed a necessary fuel source for spacecraft called “Element 115.”

This is a unique and super-dense material that produces its own anti-gravitational field when exposed to radiation. Lazar suggested that this is what lifts and propels UFOs. However, Jack Sarfatti disagreed by saying that Element 115 isn’t necessary.

The physicist even called Bob Lazar a “useful idiot of the military industrial complex.” He claimed that the latter isn’t a physicist and has never explained how the element works and affects space because it simply can’t be done.

Sarfatti believes that Lazar only relays or reads off a script that somebody gave him, without truly knowing what he’s talking about.

Meta-Material Is in the Fuselage

A common belief about UFOs is that they’re a complex craft with equally complex mechanics, given the marvel in their flight. However, Sarfatti disagrees with this notion and claims that the Tic Tac (or UFOs in general) doesn’t require much.

In fact, everything about it is easy to explain. It’s just that the material it’s built with is what’s holding humanity back from recreating it.

UFOs can maneuver the way they do because of a special material in their fuselage, which Sarfatti calls the “meta-material.” This is key to creating the warp fields needed for the UFO’s propulsion and is designed to alter gravity, light, and spacetime.

People have already manufactured these materials for sensors and perfect lenses. However, the problem is that they’re making these at a gross level with big wavelengths.

UFOs use meta-materials down “not only to the billionth of a meter scale but maybe down to the angstrom of an atomic scale.”

This means humanity has yet to discover how to reduce its mass, but once it does, Jack Sarfatti believes it will be easy to build and fly UFOs.

Navy’s UFO Patent Isn’t Going to Work

One of the most monumental moments in UFO history was when Dr. Salvatore Pais engineered a propulsion system allegedly resembling UFO technology. Jack Sarfatti shuts these down by claiming that they won’t work.

The patent won’t work. First, there’s no physics in it. It’s only electrodynamics. He may have some kind of propulsion system, but it’s not a warp drive.

When Dr. Pais claimed that his patent’s electromagnetic force is positioned right where it’s able to manipulate other energy, Sarfatti disagreed with him, saying no other force plays a role in UFOs. The only thing physicists should worry about is the electromagnetic force and its interaction with the gravitational field.

UFOs Can Be Powered by People’s Brains

Contrary to what most scientists believe, UFOs don’t need much power. If they did, they would’ve burned the planet already.

According to Sarfatti, these crafts can be powered by the brain’s electrical activity. In fact, Philip Corso has already claimed to have witnessed the little green men controlling their spacecraft with their brainwaves.

Another way to power and control these crafts is through a supercomputer. Sarfatti claimed that metamaterials are made up of nodes called quantum dots, each controlled by an electromagnetic field. To power these, a conscious artificial intelligence needs to be embedded in the fuselage to rapidly compute the energy required.

UFOs Move Through the Alcubierre Warp Drive

Jack Sarfatti used Einstein’s theory of gravity to explain how UFOs move through space. According to him, their propulsion bends spacetime in a controlled way, creating a warp drive.

From the craft’s nose, UFOs create a tractive gravity field that contracts the space around them, pulling the ship. From behind, a negative repulsive gravity also expands space, pushing it. This is called the Alcubierre Warp Drive.

The ship itself isn’t moving in its gravitational field. Instead, it’s folding space.

UFOs Aren’t Extraterrestrial But a Product of Time Loop

This is where Jack Sarfatti’s theory becomes trippy. He firmly believes that UFOs and “UFO people” exist. However, they aren’t extraterrestrials—they’re just men from the future.

He ties this theory to his research about black holes and general relativity. As he explained, general relativity implies a fundamental violation of causality. In principle, a ship can orbit a spinning black hole and emerge in its past, a phenomenon called the “time machine effect.”

Sarfatti also used this to explain how Bob Lazar got information about UFOs. According to him, a time traveler could have given Lazar some information, but not the whole truth, to influence the progress of research on this phenomenon.

Jack Sarfatti holds a controversial position in modern ufology. To this day, he’s still pursuing a true understanding of how UFOs operate and the possible recreation of one.
