The accidental UFO researcher trusted with disclosing the military-filmed video clips.
| Name | Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell |
| Age | 48 |
| Born | February 3, 1977 |
| Famous for | Being the guy who witnesses and whistleblowers trust to share UFO-related videos and keep their identities secret |
From a jujitsu master and contemporary artist to a Ufologist and filmmaker, Jeremy Corbell has truly come a long way in his career. Today, the UFO community sees him as one of its prominent figures.
He now co-hosts a UFO podcast with his mentor, George Knapp, called Weaponized, and is actively producing documentaries, including the series Extraordinary Beliefs. He also collaborates with and makes guest appearances for fellow UFO investigators and major news outlets.
His Entry Into UFO/UAP Studies
“Weaponize your curiosity.”—Jeremy Corbell lives by these words. As a naturally inquisitive person, he couldn’t help dabbling into investigative journalism and filmmaking just to know if Bob Lazar’s story was true.
In an interview with Mike Adams, he stated that hearing Lazar talk about the propulsion system he was working on made him think, “If he’s telling the truth, then that annihilates this concept of travel through space and time.” Humankind will finally have the evidence that nonhuman intelligences are coming here.
The story he covered on Bob Lazar was the moment he became entangled in the UFO phenomenon.
To see himself as a UFO researcher feels strange, he said. But the fun he had in searching for answers, and sometimes getting them, is more than enough reason for him to stay and delve deeper into it.
His Thoughts as a UFO Researcher
Jeremy Corbell admitted that he has yet to have a UFO experience. Regardless, his curiosity is big enough to make up for it. So, what does this exceedingly curious person think about the UFO phenomenon?
On the Reality of UFOs
For Corbell, the question should be whether the UFO’s presence on Earth is true or untrue. And the reality is UFOs are real. He said that “there are crafts of unknown origin flying within our restricted airspace and being captured on film and all sorts of sensors.”
It’s not just him saying it. The people in government (whom he trusts) have publicly stated this phenomenon is real. Some intelligent entity controls these unknown crafts that have been completely outpacing any of ours ever since.
The good thing about Corbell is that he’ll never try to forcefully convince people, especially the nonbelievers, to accept this view. He knows that people need to process this UFO-related information at their own pace. What he’s doing at this point is doing his best to articulate the subject to the world that’s equally curious as he is.
On UFO Disclosure
People have little knowledge about UFOs; we’re still seeking answers on this vast subject decades later. We understand, however, that these UFOs have an immense hold on us because these crafts have outstanding capabilities that we can’t currently comprehend or replicate.
For this reason, Corbell believes it’s important for the government to disclose UFO information to the public. “Nobody can hold information back that has to do with the nature of existence. Not only do we have a right to know, I feel that we have a need to know,” he comments.
Further, the government should trust the public not to be afraid of the UFO secrets it has been keeping. The public is more open and adaptable to the idea of UFOs and extraterrestrials these days. The various Congressional UFO-related hearings have allowed the public to better understand the subject and that UFOs and extraterrestrials probably exist.
His UFO Videos and Documentaries
Jeremy Corbell’s skills as an investigative journalist and filmmaker make people curious and engaged with his works. He has a way of letting the audience empathize with the film, encouraging discussions from multiple perspectives.
Here are some of the videos and documentaries the UFO community knows him for:
The Leaked Military-Taken 2019 UFO Clips
In 2021, Corbell shared two video clips on social media that sparked discussions in and out of the UFO community. He had verified the authenticity of these videos prior to posting them. He had also reported these to the letter, exactly as they were written in the briefings.
Further, the Pentagon has verified that these clips were filmed by military personnel back in 2019.
- 46-second clip from the USS Omaha. The clip shows the radar footage of a swarm of UFOs near the ship.
- 18-second clip from the USS Russell. The clip shows orbs and pyramid-shaped UFOs flying above the ship.
These clips were given in trust to Corbell, who sees himself as the “necessary evil” in publicizing them. The people, usually witnesses and whistleblowers affiliated with the military and the government, are comfortable sharing these, as well as footage and documents, with him because he can keep their secrets.
From his perspective, they’re turning to him because they’re unsure what to do with these incidents, as they’re not being properly reported to the higher-ups (those in the chain of command).
Hunt for the Skinwalker, 2018
The mystery surrounding Skinwalker Ranch had long fascinated Corbell. The film Hunt for the Skinwalker is based on George Knapp and Colm Kelleher’s book of the same name.
It’s set at the Skinwalker Ranch in Utah, which is dubbed the Area 51 of paranormal activities. For years, the ranch has been famous for several supernatural events, including UFO sightings. Some even speculated that there’s something extraterrestrial going on there.
Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers, 2018
As mentioned earlier in this page, Corbell wanted to know if what Bob Lazar had said and experienced was true. He created the film Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers to document the answers to this question.
He showed the journey, claims, and evidence Lazar had accumulated in 30 years, including never-before-seen footage. He also told through this film how Lazar’s life changed the moment he came forward and disclosed Area 51 and the reverse engineering work he did on crafts of unknown origin.
Perhaps the most unexpected result of this film was that it presented Lazar in a sympathetic light to the audience.
Extraordinary Beliefs
This documentary series, Extraordinary Beliefs, is Corbell’s active project, alongside the Weaponized podcast. It delves into people’s UFO-related accounts and tips, whistleblower stories, and scientific analysis of alleged extraterrestrial technologies.
He also aims to awaken the audience’s curiosity about the unknown and unexplained world of UFOs through these “extraordinary” stories.
His Influence on the UFO/UAP Community
Jeremy Corbell’s filming of his investigations and disclosure of verified clips have made a significant impact on the discussion of UFOs. There has now been a shift in how the government, military, and mainstream media discuss the UFO phenomenon to the public, especially now with the Congress’s ongoing UFO hearings.
However, his most significant contribution is inspiring a new generation of investigative filmmakers to navigate and balance objective investigation and subjective interpretation, to work within the boundaries and ethics of journalism, and to utilize social media in conjunction with traditional documentary techniques.
